Harvest Share is a community-centered, equity driven multi-level program that aims to improve diet and the social/built environments for English-, Chinese-, Spanish-, and Bangla-speaking communities in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Our comprehensive program actively improves food access through a subsidized, culturally tailored fresh produce box program, nutrition education, and immersive, hands-on experiences in gardening, cooking demonstrations, and farm tours. We also champion economic security by offering sliding scale farm shares, supporting SNAP enrollment, fostering workforce development, and contributing to policies that drive positive change.
